Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Owner - Rebel Fit Club

Kimberly Berg, MS, is a ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Owner of Kimberly Berg’s Rebel Fit Club. She was Oregon’s original Rock Steady Boxing coach, owning 5 affiliate sites including a very active virtual program that during the covid shut down grew to international levels offering Parkinson’s specific exercise programs.

In 2006, she served on an expert research panel at OHSU with Dr. Horak to create the best comprehensive exercises for people with Parkinson’s, which inspired her to develop her own style of Parkinson’s Bootcamp and the PD Rebel Performance Project, Who performed opening night at the World’s Parkinson’s Congress in 2016.

She was the original Brian Grant Foundation Exercise Coordinator creating the “Powering Forward Boot Camp”, a series of exercise videos, workshops to train trainers, wellness retreats and a Medical Advisory Board member.

Now she’s the CEO of “Kimberly Berg’s Rebel Fit Club” the 12,000 sq ft Parkinson’s training center, the largest in the Pacific NW. They offer super-charged boot camps and boxing classes, dancing/drumming, and mind body classes such as Tai chi and Pilates. They offer many levels and abilities especially higher functioning young-onset. They also have over 130 women in their program.

Kimberly is an avid blogger creating video work-outs for people with PD to do in their homes. Her programs were featured in the 2016 March edition of “Neurology Now”.

She holds several certifications: ACSM CEP and exercise for older adults, Rock Steady Boxing, PWR! Moves, Dance for PD, OHSU Team PD, and Boxing Fitness Institute, TRX special populations. She’s also STOTT Pilates trained, an area of expertise integrated into her teaching.
