Kelly Becker

Kelly Becker, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in obesity medicine who currently works in the Center for Clinical Research at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, Kalamazoo, Michigan. A graduate of Western Michigan University, Ms. Becker started her nursing career in cardiopulmonary critical care. After a decade at the bedside, Ms. Becker worked as critical care outcomes specialist, leading continuous quality improvement initiatives. She graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2011 with her Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner, and worked in Grand Rapids as a hospitalist nurse practitioner before returning to Kalamazoo in 2013.
