Dr. Lisk is Director of Movement Disorders at MD Neurology in Denton and Flower Mound, Texas. He has been a Principal Site Investigator in several national clinical research trials in Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Lisk is an Alumni of University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he did research on immunotoxin therapy. He received a medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia and Interned at The University of California, Los Angeles. He completed Neurology Residency & received a Movement Disorders fellowship at the University of Texas at Houston. Memberships include The International Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Society and The American Academy of Neurology where he is on the Digital Strategy Committee, Career Leadership Subcommittee, Movement Disorder Topic Workgroup Subcommittee. Dr. Lisk also been a moderator and a speaker for past International American Academy of Neurology Annual Meetings. Former appointments include- Board of Directors of the American Heart Association- African-American Task Force for the Western States, Alzheimer’s Association Board-Member- Southwest Missouri Chapter, Expert Reviewer for the California Medical Board, member of the American Association for Physician Leadership and Association of American Physicians & Surgeons and a member of the California Neurology Society Bylaws Committee. Dr. Lisk is a 2013 Graduate of the American Academy of Neurology Palatucci Advocacy Leadership Forum, 2016 Graduate of the American Academy of Neurology Diversity Leadership Program, 2018 Graduate of the Trinity Leadership Curriculum, 2010 NAACP Man of Valor Award Recipient. He has also been voted as one of Pasadena Top Docs by Pasadena Magazine from 2011 to 2015. Current Appointments positions include- Parkinson Foundation Greater Texas Advisory Board, Texas Health Services Authority Board of Directors by Governor Gregg Abbott, Medical Advisory Committee for the California State Athletic Commission and Alzheimer’s Association Medical & Scientific Committee-Northeast Texas and Dallas. Dr. Lisk has been a radio host for ReachMD since 2010. Furthermore, he is also a Senior Medical Advisor for several Biotech Companies including Beneufit, Likeminds Global, TelloMed and LevelEx. Memberships include The International Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Society and The American Academy of Neurology where he is on the Digital Strategy Committee, Career Leadership Subcommittee, Movement Disorder Topic Workgroup Subcommittee and has been faculty and a moderator for past International American Academy Annual Meetings.
